Canning pinto beans

Now the first question I get asked when I tell people that I can pinto beans is "why do you can dry beans". OK, here's my reasoning behind it.

1. That way I always know just how many meals I have on hand. 1 qt. of beans is plenty for a family of 4.

2. They are "heat and eat meals". You could eat them cold if you wish, I know many people that enjoy cold pinto beans, I'm not one of them.

3. If I had to I could heat them in the mason jars that they are in. Glass is as good a cooking container as you will find. In an emergency that glass jar may provide many uses. I can also use this glass mason jar over and over.

So, that's why I do it. Plus we love them and eat them often. This way we can just grab a qt from the storage room and heat them up. No all day soaking and cooking them, just heat and eat. It makes what would normally take a few hours of cooking into a few minutes. It's convenient. Also they travel well, you can take them with you just about anywhere and have a good meal just minutes away. Maybe be good for barter in the future too.

The way I do it.

Rinse your beans and then let soak over night. ( 12 hours ) Store in a cool place during this time.

Remove beans from the water and replace with fresh water to cook them at medium heat for 30 minutes.

Place hot beans in hot qt. jars leaving an inch of head space in the jar. Add 1 teaspoon of table salt. (Optional) Remove any air bubbles.

Adjust 2 piece ring and lid and place in a pressure caner at 10 lbs for 90 minutes.

You're done !!

Label and store and be ready to enjoy them good ol' pinto beans ( we call 'em soup beans ) anytime you wish. I am going to can some tomorrow and will try to post some pics tomorrow night. I love to can and hey, it's prepping too. My 2 favorite things all in one. Gotta love it.

Fuel Storage

I always try to keep extra fuel on hand, gasoline that is. As preppers we always try to get the best deal on things that we need and use on a regular basis. Do we not all use gasoline on a regular basis, like nearly everyday ?? That is why I store fuel, I use a lot of it. I have 8, 5 gallon gas cans, the plastic ones, that I keep my fuel in. I rotate this by adding them to my Jeep when I get below 3/4's of a tank. When I go to town I fill the cans back up, rotating them as I do this so I always have fresh gas.

Like I said, I have 8 of these, that's 40 gallons on hand just about all the time. This allows me to have fuel when the price goes up for a few days for NO reason. Once it comes back down I fill what cans I have used. Plus, in the event of a power outage I STILL HAVE FUEL. Last year in Kentucky there were some ice storms that left many without power for weeks, the gas stations too. It didn't happen where I live but west of me just a few hours drive. Some of those folks where in a world of hurt for fuel. So it's just a safe bet to keep some extra on hand.

I have bought all of my gas cans used at yard sales and the flea market. I usually pay around 5 bucks for them, new they are around 12 to 15 dollars. I am always on the lookout for more of them, watching at any yard sale that I see. I hope to get more, would like to be able to keep 100 gallons on hand. I store these in my outside storage building out of the weather and the sun. Gasoline will keep just fine with no additives for a good while. If you plan to keep it long term I would recommend adding some stabilizer. The 5 gal cans work great for me because they are fairly easy to handle and I don't need any pump of any kind to get the fuel from the can to my tank. The large 55 gallon barrels would require some kind of pump to get your fuel. The 5 gal cans are easy to handle, just grab 1 or 5 out of the building when you are heading to town or when the gas prices are more to your liking and fill them up.

We store other things we need, why not fuel too ? I buy when the price is lower and this saves me money. I hardly ever carry extra fuel with me because I am never far from home. Even when I visit my family in WV it's only less than half a tank in my Jeep from here to there. I never get under 3/4's of a tank so I always have enough fuel to get home now matter what. I stop along the way where I see the lowest price on fuel and keep my tank topped off. I feel that we as preppers should all have SOME fuel stored. It would be a shame for your bug out plan to hit the dirt because you where 2 gallons short of your destination. Ya'll think about that and let me know what you fuel storage plan is. I know my plan's not perfect but in this case some is better than none.

"ORDER"

We have had the nicest weather anyone could ask for for over a week now and I have been a busy little beaver. Working outside getting things in order.

That's what preppers strive for, to have things they need and to have them in order. I have always said that if you can't find it, you don't have it. In an emergency situation it is critical to be able to find the things you need when you need them. One must keep all their preps in order at all times just in case. I love doing this, keeping things in order. I makes my life seem more complete, full and.....well, orderly. I like for things to be in their place.

Most of yesterday was spent cleaning the vehicles, both hers and mine. I feel that it is important to keep your vehicles clean and orderly as well as your other preps. You car is a prep too and never forget that. "BOV" ?? Bug Out Vehicle ! If I have to resort to that I want to be able to get inside with out fighting off the Wal Mart bags and such. I keep my Jeep pretty well in order most of the time but still, sometimes things get piled up inside. I took advantage of the nice weather to vacuum both vehicles and shampoo the carpets, just makes everything look and smell nice. Hers got a good bath and all the fluids checked and topped off. The Jeep, well, all fluids topped off and the bath will have to wait. I will be back in the log woods again tomorrow and a wash job would be in vain right now. It's not that bad anyway, never is but I will get to it soon. I like to keep my vehicles in top condition at all times. They are a big investment and I will take care of that investment as best I can.

Other items of order for the day, stacked more of the firewood that I have been splitting all week, washed and serviced my 4 wheeler and cleaned out or at least straightened up my storage building. I can get the 4 wheeler in there now anyway. Couldn't before. LOL Still much to be done, my work bench is a mess, things scattered everywhere on it, tools out of place....I don't like that at all. That is tomorrows project, to work on my bench and get my tools in order and cleaned or oiled whatever they may call for.

I had plans to rework the food storage room a few weekends ago but decided to wait for a bit. It's too nice and there is just too much to do outside right now, it can wait til the long dark days and nights of winter. The food is in there and I know where it all is but I would still like to get it in order. Inventory all the items and see where I stand, it's an ongoing project and one that I love. Lists of preps and or needs are an everyday thing for me. I MUST KNOW either what I have or what I need and that is the only way I have found to do so, to have order.

Maybe in some strange way it helps to put a little more order in my life, something which seems to be lacking...it's complicated but it works. Either way, order must be restored at the Compound and I intend to do just that. Next on my list is medical preps, I know I am lacking and plan to get those in order as soon as possible.

So guys and gals, take advantage of your time and get your lives and your preps in order. Ya gotta be able to find it if yer gonna use it. Ever look for a flashlight in the dark ?? I have and will not have to look again. I know where mine are....do you ??

The Lone Prepper

Let's just say that those that live here and are under my care are not really into the whole prepperism thing. Far from it really. Oh, sometimes Mrs. Bullseye will pick up a few extra things that are on sale at the store to add to our food storage program, mostly just to try to make me happy. It does help. But most of the time I am alone in my quest for independence and preparedness.

I enjoy living a frugal live style, they don't. While they are out shopping and eating out at restaurants I am here at home, turning off the lights they left on, the TV, the satellite box and God only knows what all else. Just trying to save a little here and there. They joke about the things I do, not really seeing that I am doing these things for them. When I come home from town they always jokingly ask if I got another case of tuna or Spam. They joke about my wood pile saying that it is a lumber yard and that I never seem to think I have enough. I clip coupons to use on items that we use regularly, that's funny too. I buy nearly everything by the case....funny. Always a smirk when the ask if I have my gas cans in the Jeep when I say I'm going to fill up.

It's a good thing I do these things and don't let them or their attitude get to me. It's hard at times but I march onward. Knowing that it won't be so funny in the near future, they will see why I have worked so hard to insure our future and our safety. I march on. Everyday looking for and thinking of new ways to prepare. They are like so many others out there that believe that the good times will last forever.....sorry to let them know that they never have. The Romans thought they would too and after 500 years they seen they were wrong. Our country is only half that age and we can see the end just over the horizon, or at least some can.

I do what I do for them, for us, for our future generations. It's not some kind of game that I play or just a hobby of mine. It's serious business and I know that. I have tried everything I know to do to show them the truth about our future but the world has them by the throat, choking any thought of the things to come right out of them. It's hard being a Lone Prepper but in the end I know it's worth it.

Keep on Prepping,

A day in the life of a Prepper

Most days are the same, some better than others but all focused on prepping. Had a pretty good week last week. Kroger had a great sale and I added to my food storage big time. This is one of my favorite preps to by because it saves me money and helps me be better prepared at the same time. The money saved can and will be used for other preps. I have been looking at and thinking about the 45 watt solar panel kit from Harbor Freight and would like to know if any of you have had any experience with them. I know this is not a whole house system but it is a start and could be used to provide some extra power in a pinch like when the grid is down. I really want to get something and soon. I'll be working the next 2 weeks and want to spend all the money on preps, this being at the top of the list.

I would encourage all of you to add to your food storage as you can even if it's just one extra can of this or that at a time, it all counts in the end.

Survival Groups

When is comes to Long Term Survival we may all dream of the Lone Wolf fantasy were a man or woman with a rifle and a survival knife live all by themselves surviving and thriving in our new found life. But, as much as we like to think this is the way of survival, it's not reality. Only in a group will we be able to survive the long term effects of the future. One person can not make it near as well as a group. Alone, a person will never be able to rest, eat or work without someone else keeping guard over him. Vandals and bandits will roam the land looking for the Lone Wolf as he will be an easy target. He will have to sleep sometime and with no one to watch his back he is sure to perish in a matter of time. With a Survival Group there is safety in numbers. There will be someone to man the lookout post while others perform the required duties of Long Term Survival. Among these duties may be, tending the garden planted with heirloom seeds for use in future gardens, taking care of animals that you may be keeping for milk, meat or eggs, cutting and stacking firewood for heat or for cooking, performing maintenance on you alternative power source be it solar, hydro, or wind power. Looking out for would be looters and guarding what you have will be a full time job for several people.

If you can at all, I suggest that you start forming your groups as soon as possible. Check to see if you have neighbors that are like minded and most importantly have skills. Your group will need to consist of people with a variety of skills. Are any of your neighbors in the medical field? That is for sure one skill that you will want to have around. Carpenters, mechanics, those who know how to raise and care for livestock and of course, shooters. Everyone in the group will need to have shooting skills and tactical skills as well. Having someone that can teach these skills is a must too.

Life as we know it will change forever, like it or not. The members of your group need to be people you can trust with your life because that's what you will be doing for each, watching each others backs. Group members that are prepping now are by far the best choice. Meet with these group members regularly to discuss what options you have and be honest about them all. Don't tell me you can shoot and then let me find out after SHTF that you don't know one end of a rifle from the other. Practice with your group and get a feel for what others can and can't do. Train now rather than later although on going training will be a must for all.

Make a list of skills that the group has and see what is lacking, then look for others that may fill this void. If we are to survive and thrive in the new world that we will be living in we must pull together and form groups or tribes if you will. Michael over at Staying Alive has a good post today were he is talking about people re-tribing. Children moving back in with their parents to help secure the homestead and the family. Extra hands to work and eyes to watch out for would be looters. Be sure to give it a read, it's good stuff. I like the idea.

This is a topic that one could spend weeks studying about and come up with a million different ways to form your group. I encourage you to comment and voice your ideas on this subject. There is a lot that can be covered on this subject and I hope you will join in on the discussion. Most of all I hope that you will start forming your own group.

Guest post by Dean in AZ

I'd like to thank Bullseye for letting me ramble on again.

I'd like to take a serious look at some of the thing's I've read about prep's.I've seen comment's about 20k round's,per gun,500 pound's of wheat, rice, whatever.A generator. How do you plan to haul it????
If you have a truck,it better be a BIG truck! 500 pound's of grain will pretty much overload a mini truck, such as a S10 or Ranger. And you'd be lucky to get it all in anyway.Toss in your wheat mill,a small generator,a few gas can's,your camping gear....it start's to add up!
FAST!!!!!
Granted,we're not all in a position the have the vehicle we'd like to have.I'd prefer a 4x4,but I have a dually pickup and a 20 foot car hauler.I can put my lil Suzuki on it,then all my stuff on behind it,or in it.And it can be used as a spare shelter,if needed.I can tow anything you can put a strong enough chain around,if I want to tolerate 8-10 mpg.I think a decent sized RV would be better for my plan's,but out of my budget at this time.
So,what's today's point? As my other post said,we can never know everything. Now,we can't haul everything we'd like to have, dream to have, want to have, whatever.Even a custom made motorhome can't haul it all.It still get's bad mileage, and most can barely move themselve's,much less tow much.Trust me,my father owned the largest RV dealership in the midwest yr's ago!
One of these day's,when I'm really bored,I'd like to do the math and see how much space 20k round's of 223 take's up.I'd like to see how many 5 gallon bucket's will fit in my truck. The biggest thing I've towed was a 20k forklift, and it was scary! I could pull it,stopping was kinda scary!
So why haul wheat that need's so much extra work? Buy flour or bisquick, trash the wheat mill, skip the time, labor, all that! Pancake mix only need's water, not yeast, baking powder...Dehydrate everything!(My fav)!
Then realize..you can't load this all in a bug out situation...you'll need help,and probably 3 more truck's!
Make sure you have the stuff in a manageable size container.Milk crate's are perfect, they have handle's and stack nicely.Use as a chair or footstool when empty,or line with a trash bag to collect water.Make everything fit in it's place. It's like loading a moving van,you pay by the foot, compact everything possible!
Keep it light, easy to use,and well packed! And find like minded one's to set up a bug out plan, see what fit's best in what truck, who can pull what best.Don't put a 24 foot trailer on a ford explorer,it won't get far.Don't put a 8 foot trailer on a diesel dually,it's a waste of the power.

We're all in this together...

More Rain Barrels-Updated With Pictures for Matt

Here is a picture of the 15 gal. barrel with the handle. Matt remined me that I had not taken any pictures and he seemed to be upset. Can't have my loyal readers upset now can I. This one's for you Matt. LMAO !!!!

Got some more rain barrels today and got 'em cheap too. They came from a Pepsi plant just south of here about 20 miles. A buddy of mine got the scoop on them and called this morning and said that we could go get all they had. We got 8-55gal. , 1-30 gal. , and 10- 15 gal. The 55's were $3 each the 30 was $2.50 and the 15's were $2. We got all they had and we where promised more later on if we need them. We will need them too, for use now and for future barter too. The 15's are really great, they have a handle on top to carry them with. I plan to clean the 15's out real good and use them for fresh water storage here in the house. The 30 and the 55's will be used to catch rain water. This is a great deal and they are all food grade barrels too. If you need barrels of this type be sure to check with a Pepsi or Coke bottling plant to see if you can get some too. It's been a good day here and I am happy to have more barrels. Now just got to try to get all the Pepsi and Mt. Dew smell out of them.

Survival Seed Vault for Barter

I know that I have mentioned the Survival Seed Vault many times before but I just can't say enough good about this product. I liked it so good that I ordered another for possible future barter items. After the collapse these seeds are going to be worth their weight in gold in many places. Being able to raise your own food in your Survival Garden is the only way to long term survival. Your food storage will run out in time if you don't have a way to replenish it and a Survival Garden is the way to do just that. Most of the seeds from my first Survival Seed Vault are in the ground now but I wanted another for barter. I will be saving seeds like a wild man this fall, like I have never saved them before. Mark my words, heirloom seeds will have more barter power than paper money in the very near future. It's my opinion and the opinion of many others that heirloom seeds and ammo are the best investment one can make in this economy. I'm not taking any chances so I'm getting both. It's not to late to plant your Survival Garden either. There is still time to plant and get a harvest of many different veggies by this fall. Plus you can always have a winter garden by planting cole crops in the fall.

These seed packs will go back into the vault and then stored away for the future. Natural disasters of any kind could come my way and wipe my garden out leaving me with nothing. No food and no seeds. It just pays to have a back up plan (or seeds). It's just the way of a prepper.

Breakfast with a friend

My good friend Tom, who until today I had only known through the Internet, from American Preppers Network came by my way last night. He called yesterday to let me know that he would be in my town and we made plans to meet this morning for breakfast. Tom is a Trucker and never really knows where his job and his truck may take him. At 8:00 am this morning we got to meet face to face for the very first time. It was great to finally put a face with the emails and the yahoo chat. lol We enjoyed a great breakfast Cracker Barrel style and talked about the future of APN. Tom really impressed me with his dedication to this network and was always talking about new ways to reach people to let them know about APN and the information that they could find there. He made me even more happy to be a small part of the prepper movement that is spreading like a wild fire across the globe. There are plans to recruit new members that will be contributing to the state prepper networks so we can provide even more information that appeals to preppers. More members would also mean that the work of the blogs would be spread out a little more too. More people = less work for any one person. After about 2 hours Tom had to get on the road again and we parted ways. It was good to have met this new friend and it was all because of the American Preppers Network and the friendships that are to be found there. Good people that just want to get to know other like minded individuals and help all those that they can. Be sure to check out American Preppers Network and the Prepper Networks in your state too.

Uneasy Feeling

I've had a very uneasy feeling the last few days. Almost as if time is running out on me. The collapse is just around the corner and getting closer by the second and there is still much to be done. I can hardly sleep at night for worrying about the things that still need to be done. I am FAR ahead of most in the prep department but far behind where I want to be. Maybe that's best, that I worry, keeps me on my toes and always planning for the future.

Food storage is in good shape. Garden is on hold a bit longer, still too wet to plant anything else right now but I have all my seed and am ready when it dries up. Guns and ammo are good, of course I always want more but I am in real good shape. Been putting back some silver and gold a little at a time for quite a while. Mostly coins and jewelry. I buy some gold jewelry at the flea market and yard sales for pennies on the dollar, silver too. I hardly ever pay more than 5 or 10 dollars for 14 and 18 k. gold rings, necklaces and bracelets. Silver, far less than that. Home security gets an A+, and that's by my standards which are very strict. One thing I have found myself lacking in is alternate power. That's next on the list.

This will be my next purchase in the prep department. A 45 watt Solar Panel Power Lighting System Kit from ebay. Not really a whole house system by any means but it's a start. I always go back to the saying that anything is better than nothing. That's the case here, I just want something that I can build on. Here's a video on the panels.

These panels will be useful in many ways. I plan on installing them on my work shop/ junk building and experimenting some with them. I still have some ideas for micro hydro using the overflow from my pond too. A combination of the 2 may be something with possibilities. We'll have to wait and see. Anyway, keep on prepping and try to get all you can NOW !! I have and uneasy felling that time is running out on us all.

How to "Saw Off a Shotgun"

I am planning on going to a gun show just down the road this weekend and will be looking for an inexpensive pump shotgun for a little project I've had in mind. Will also be looking for a 22 rifle, should have bought the one I seen at the flea market about a month ago, been sick over that since then. Maybe I will find a little something this weekend. Until then, here's a little reading material that you may be interested in. I'd kinda like mine a little shorter BUT that would be against the law. This is of course for entertainment purposes only. hehehe!!!

Instructions on how to do a good at-home barrel cut:

Unload the gun, close the bolt, and insert a cleaning rod down the bore.

Make SURE you have the rod all the way down to the bolt face.

Use a marker to mark the rod even with the muzzle.

Remove the rod, and measure off a MINIMUM of 18 1/2 inches, which is the minimum Federal length.

Lay the rod on the barrel with the first mark even with the muzzle, then mark the barrel at the second mark. This is the cut line.

STOP.

Do the entire measuring process AT LEAST two or three more times to be 100% SURE you've got it done right. Measure and cut too short and you've violated Federal law and ruined a barrel.

Wrap a piece of tape around the barrel BELOW the cut mark, or use a tubing cutter to score a line around the barrel. The tape or cutter will give you a square cut line around the barrel.Use a fine-tooth hacksaw to make two or three shallow cuts on the line.Rotate the barrel and make several more.Continue to make shallow cuts and rotate the barrel until you have a line cut all the way around the barrel. Then, just continue making shallow cuts and rotating the barrel until it's cut all the way through. This insures that you get a nice square cut, without the saw drifting off at an angle. This greatly reduces the chances of the muzzle not being square and having to do a lot of filing to square it.

After the barrel is cut off, use a fine-cut file to lightly break the sharp outer edges of the muzzle.Use fine sand cloth over the ball of your thumb to lightly break the sharp inner edges of the muzzle, and to remove the saw marks from the front edge.

Tough up with cold blue.New front sights are a little more complicated, and are probably best left to a gunsmith who can drill and tap the barrel for a new bead.

For an inside the home, home defense gun, no front sight is really needed.

Basic Preps

Here are just my thoughts on the Basic Preps, the Holy Trinity of Preps if you will. Beans, Bullets and Band aids.

Beans- This term is used loosely and covers a variety of foods. It does not apply only to beans but food storage of any kind in my opinion. Everyone should have a good store of food at home. Buy a little extra each time you go to the store and you will be surprised how fast you can accumulate a good stock of food. Dry beans, rice, flour and meal are just a few of the things that you need to keep on hand at all times. I purchased a 25 lb bag of pinto beans for $14.00 so it's not really expensive. When you think about it that bag of beans could provide a family of 4 good healthy meals everyday for a whole month...for $14.00. Now you may tire of them but you will be healthy at the end of the bag. Food storage is good insurance for times when money is tight. Loose your job, get laid off or just getting in a pinch like so many do and you will be glad to have some food stored away.

Bullets- This term is also used loosely in my opinion. Not only does it apply to guns and ammo but overall security. Items that allow you to protect yourself and your home fall into this category. Good quality locks on your doors and windows, motion lights outside your home, smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors are some of the things that come to mind. Just being secure in your home and person is part of the Bullets part of the 3.

Band aids- A good first aid kit is mandatory for all homes. Small kits should also be carried in each of your vehicles too. Accidents don't really care where you are when they hit so always have one near by. Also, making sure your home is safe will lessen your chance of needing your kit. Make sure all walks are in good shape and have light for times you need them at night. Hand rails and ramps to your porches or decks if needed. Think of things that may be a hazard to children, you too can be injured by these same hazards. Being safe and being smart will help to keep you out of the first aid kit.

Like I said before, these are just my thoughts. I know you have some too, let's hear them. Feel free to leave a comment about your thoughts on the 3 basic preps. Your comments are always welcome and help us all to learn from others.

Home Alone

You may remember in a few posts back I mentioned that Mrs. Bullseye was staying with her grandmother who lives about 4 hours away. Her GM has liver cancer and is not doing well at all. The kids have been staying with me but this past weekend I took them to stay the spring break week with their mother and other grandparents. I came back on Sunday afternoon and have been home alone since that time. Now let me say that I love my family very much but, this has been a pretty nice break for me too, if ya know what I mean. I miss them dearly but have been staying busy, very busy. I have spent most of the time in the garden, plowing, tilling and planting what can be planted this early. I got 50 lbs of seed potato planted, 30 cabbage plants, about 50 red onion and a few lbs of green onion, oh yea, planted a row of broccoli too. Got 2 apple tress at Lowes and planted them in the front yard, been meaning to get some fruit trees for a while now. Glad to have that much done anyway. My Survival Seed Vault should be here any day now, looking forward to getting those heirloom seeds. If your in the market for seeds, and you should be, please click the banner on the side to learn more about the benefits of heirloom seeds, nothing better.

Been eating real good too. I made me a big pot of pinto beans Monday and have been eating the hell out of 'em. A big bowl of beans and a good sweet onion makes a mighty good meal after working all day. I got some warming on the stove now, tomorrow should finish them up I'd say. Been home since Sunday and just turned the TV on last night..lol Found a good movie on late ( 88 minutes ) and then off to bed. It's quiet here now....almost too quiet. I sure miss my baby girl, I miss them all but the 3 year old is with me 24/7. She's having a great time with my Mom and Dad though, it's good for us all I guess.

Lot a crazy shit can go though a mans head when left alone. If any of you have ever been home without your family there for very long you know what I'm talking about. LOL

Not been spending any money on preps this week, not really had the money. I think working in the garden to secure my food source is a pretty good prep anyway. It's nice to have more guns and ammo but they're kinda hard to eat when you get hungry. Anyway that's what's going on in my little world.

Don't forget to checkout Bullseye's Survival Gear Store for any of your survival needs or you can use the Amazon link on the side bar if your looking for anything that Amazon has, I appreciate any and all orders through those links. Ya'll have a good evening.

Check out this weeks "Bullseye's Pick of the Week". The Survival Seed Vault full of heirloom seeds for your survival garden. I just placed my order last night and I can't wait to get my seeds. Please click on the Survival Seed Vault Banner on the side to read more and to place your order.

Now you can grow your Survival Garden for bountiful harvest anywhere in the country. Chosen for varieties that will grow in all zones.
We need to wake up now! If even half of the reports out on the world’s food supply are right, we’ve got real problems and they are coming to our town.
Here are some articles I just found:

WorldNet Daily cites strong evidence that some government agencies are stockpiling huge amounts of canned food.

Jim Randas, former U.S. Intelligence officer, appeared on ABC telling Americans to start stockpiling food.

Grocery store prices are rising faster than any time in U.S. history.

Worldwide grain stocks are dropping precipitously as bio-fuels consume inventories… and on and on and on.

As the economy worsens, one of the first things to be affected will be our country’s food supply. causing soaring prices and severe shortages. Without the ability to grow your own food next year, your family may be in danger. The food distribution supply system is only 3 days, which WOULD LEAVE STORE SHELVES EMPTY in the event of a supply crisis.

Can You Take Charge Of Your Family’s Food Supply?

Could you feed your family for a year, 2 years or more from your garden if you had to? Do you have enough seeds to plant a survival garden to feed your family? Do you have the right kind of seeds? Can you save the seeds from your harvest to plant next year?

If you are answering no to these questions, you need to stop whatever you are doing and ask yourself… “What would my family do if the grocery stores were closed?” The answer sadly is that they would probably go hungry.

Here is what you need to do right now….

First, you need to know that if things were to get bad your family will still eat. You have enough non-hybrid seeds to plant more than an acre. This could mean the difference between thriving and starving. Think about it…your family. Thriving because you have the Survival Seed Vault of Non-Hybrid Seeds.

Guys and Gals, it's time to start preparing ourselves for the food shortage that we all KNOW is coming. Plus nothing is cheaper than food you raise yourself or better. Get your seeds today and start your Survival Garden. Save your seeds and never have to buy them again, ever.
