My good friend Tom, who until today I had only known through the Internet, from American Preppers Network came by my way last night. He called yesterday to let me know that he would be in my town and we made plans to meet this morning for breakfast. Tom is a Trucker and never really knows where his job and his truck may take him. At 8:00 am this morning we got to meet face to face for the very first time. It was great to finally put a face with the emails and the yahoo chat. lol We enjoyed a great breakfast Cracker Barrel style and talked about the future of APN. Tom really impressed me with his dedication to this network and was always talking about new ways to reach people to let them know about APN and the information that they could find there. He made me even more happy to be a small part of the prepper movement that is spreading like a wild fire across the globe. There are plans to recruit new members that will be contributing to the state prepper networks so we can provide even more information that appeals to preppers. More members would also mean that the work of the blogs would be spread out a little more too. More people = less work for any one person. After about 2 hours Tom had to get on the road again and we parted ways. It was good to have met this new friend and it was all because of the American Preppers Network and the friendships that are to be found there. Good people that just want to get to know other like minded individuals and help all those that they can. Be sure to check out American Preppers Network and the Prepper Networks in your state too.
