Stealth Campfire

Got a good one you for you this time. Stealth Campfire !! When you are out and about for whatever reason and you need to keep a low profile and stay warm and cook too the Dakota Fire Hole fits the bill. I first learned of this technique over at Survival Topics. Man they got a bunch of good information over there. Be sure to check 'em out, a lot of great stuff. My hats of to all at Survival Topics, good job. This technique allows you to build a fire with little smoke, a small amount of wood for fuel and if followed correctly you never leave a trace that you have been there. It reminds me of something like a rocket stove only under ground. This Dakota Fire Hole is a great way to keep yourself on the down low, if ya know what I mean. Stay warm, stay feed and stay hid.

This is Bullseye....OUT !!!

Practical skills are a great thing to have knowledge of and to put in action..........

Looks like it could help reduce the chance of starting any other cover burning fire as well, even in a windy situation...

Good info and great link, my man!

Cygnus, Glad to provide you with some useful info brother. There's a lot of it out there it's just hard to find what you want sometimes. Thanks for coming back on a regular basis. I apreciated it.

Scout, So true my friend. And put into action is the best thing one can do to sharpen skills. Thank you.

Hermit Jim, I knew you would like this one. I can just see you sitting out on your country property, alone in the woods brewing up a cup of coffee. hehe!! Thanks for coming coming over brother.

Catman, a great site it is. I am glad to be able to share it with those of you who I know are interested. Thank you much.
