Why I hate to order anything

You may remember that I ordered a new stock and laser for my 9mm carbine. Well I even paid extra for priority shipping because I was so excited to get them both. I placed my order on Saturday and my order was paid for then too. These folks didn't even get my package to the USPS until Wednesday evening and that is where it still sits this morning. Priority shipping is supposed to get my package here in 2 working days but it has not moved in 2 working days according to the USPS site. I have the tracking number and have checked it several times and the thing has not moved. I hate to order anything. No wonder the economy is in the tank, people are too lazy to even do what you pay them extra to do. Just sitting here waiting for the pony express to bring my stuff........so much for gov mail delivery.

This is Bullseye...OUT !!!

Start using FedEx and UPS, boycott USPS. Make the Government system fail to show that their systems always ultimately fail...but then again, they'd just use more of our tax dollars to help support them just like Amtrak and now GM and the banks

Those USPS tracking numbers are never accurate.

Yep, that chaps my a$$ too. Ordered a stock two years ago that was delivered via USPS. The supplied link told me package was sent to our local office, but after three days, I went to office to find package. "We don't have it" sez they. "Your website sez you wrong" sez I. She confirms this, shrugs shoulder. "Lady, I paid $80 for this item plus shipping - I need a better answer that THAT!"

Long and short of it was, it arrives - 2 1/2 weeks late. It was delivered to address waaaay off, and after given back to USPS, took a week to travel approximately 3 miles.

Yeah, I've been there too man . . . sorry, just your turn.

I've had packages that didn't show in the system at UPS until after they arrived at my house. I had one that a guy shipped from ~300 miles away. It ended up making a round trip to a city ~1000 miles away before it got to me. They just kept pushing out the delivery date every day.

A Fedex driver once claimed he couldn't find my house 2 days in a row when delivering a job offer package for my wife. My better half called and complained and finally got a supervisor on the phone and he drove to our house to see how difficult it was to find. I think the driver may have lost his job over it because the super said they'd had trouble like that before. We finally got the package the 3rd day after it was supposed to be delivered.

It isn't just USPS that screws it up.

I would bet that the tracking info isn't accurate.

Yep, it's a real bummer guys. Still not here today either. Maybe sometime next week....I hope anyway. This happens everytime I order something it seems. I just have no luck I guess. They can sure get those damn bills here in plenty of time though. LOL

Just my two cents: I ordered a canning pressure cooker from a company I dealt with before-no problems. They use Fed-EX, and in my area Fed- Ex sucks. They "outsoursed" some of their delivery routes to a contractor who apparently only hired inner-city gang bangers for drivers. I mean, if I didn't see the Fed-ex magnetic sign on the side of the rusted out POS van, I would've sic'd the dogs on him. My security level went up to DEF-CON Ultra after that deal! What a great way to case a neighborhood out without causing suspicion. I was really amazed that the driver could see to drive with the filthy, tangled dredlocks hanging over his face. Now, I've used Fed-Ex before and since (at work) and was happy with the service. Maybe they use contractors in the busy season...I don't know. I NEVER had a problem with UPS.
