Free ebook - Dowsing - Letter to Robin by Walt Woods

You can view and or print a free ebook on the art of Dowsing at this site. I have been interest in this mysterious art for many years and just ran across this free ebook tonight. I know you have heard of Dowsing or maybe you just didn't know what it was called before now. It's when you take a limb and hold it out in front of you and then follow the limb as it pulls you in the direction of water. I have actually seen this done before years ago. A guy I know was going to have a well drilled on his property and called a friend to come over and Dowse to see where to drill. Now I was interested to say the least but not convinced that this really did work. This guy brought a limb with him the was Y shaped, he held the 2 short ends and then following the long end of the limb until it began to pull him along and then pointed down to a spot on the ground. This guy then said to drill right here and then even told that water was about 30 ft below, give or take 5 ft. These were his exact words. Well, my buddy then went to the garage and brought out a qt of moonshine to offer as payment and it was well received by the Dowser and then he was off. Later that week the well driller came and my buddy told them where to start drilling. I'll be damned if they didn't hit water at 33 ft. No shit, this is true. I have been a believer every since that day. It is said that some have the gift Dowsing and others just do not. I'm not sure either way but if you are in need of finding water or just interested in this subject, give this free ebook a read. Good stuff and very interesting. Who knows, you may have the Dowsing Gift.

Hey Bullseye...I lived for a while in the little town of Kyle, right outside of Austin. Had to call the water department to come out one day for something.

On their truck as part of their standard equipment, they had dowsing rods made from welding rods. The spanish guy driving the truck wouldn't use them, but offered them to me if I wanted to find the water pipes underground!

It worked! I have been a believer for quite a while!

Uncle Jim, That is really cool that they had dowsing rods as standard equipment on their truck. So, did you get one and have you ever used it? I'd love to hear that story. Thanks for the visit my friend.

The welding rods(I use 8 gauge cooper wire) that Hermit Jim is referring to does work for any underground utility not just water. I do excavating for a living and use them all the time to find electric water phone septic tanks and drain fields. It does work and anyone that does not disbelieve it works can do it.

Dowsing water for a well is very different although I was told by a dowser that if you believe you can you will be able to do it. I will read this book for sure as I was also told if electric wrist watches die on you fast than you can do it also and I have to carry a wind up pocket watch. I have never tried to find a well location but have heard of many other ways it can be done.
