How to Stay out of Camp FEMA !!!

In my last post we learned about all the fun activities that are being planned for us at Camp FEMA and what you had to do to be invited. If you will remember ,the only thing you have to do to attend Camp FEMA is NOTHING!!

I'm sure most of you reading this are much like me. (or I sure hope you are ) I have NO intentions of playing along with the FEMA Counselors and work some each day to make sure I am not a Camper. Below are a few of the things I am doing and I would like to hear from you what you are doing.

I stay informed. I do research everyday as to what is really going on with our government.

I am continuing adding to my long term food storage (LTS) each week. Buying a little extra each week to put back in storage. And yes, every little bit helps.

I raise a garden each year. This year it's going to be much larger. I plant heirloom seeds and save seeds each year too. I don't want to get caught without seeds to plant and grow food for my family.

I have learned to preserve those foods through canning and freezing and dehydration. This is a must for those of us that grow our own food. We must preserve what we grow for later use.

I keep a few guns and some ammo on hand at all times to defend my family from whomever may cause a threat. In a SHTF scenario you never know who that threat may be. I feel like those that know that they should have been preparing and would not see the light are the ones that will be the biggest threat.

I try to keep extra of anything that I feel may be of use to me in the future. I don't throw much away until I am sure I can not reuse it in some way. Batteries, clothes, tools and extra parts for cars are just some of the things I feel are useful.

I have a Bug Out Bag for each member of my family. If the need comes that I have to Bug out I have needed supplies ready at all times. I also have several locations that I can go to if need be.

I try to keep my vehicles in top shape at all times too. I never let maintenance go unchecked. Transportation is a very important part of my preps.

These are a few of the things I work on each day to make sure that me and my family don't end up at Camp FEMA. I am open to suggestion and questions about how to stay out of Camp. Please feel free to leave comments, I love to hear from my readers.
This is Bullseye...OUT !!!

I can only think of three ways to stay out of a FEMA camp...
1) fill them with copper covered lead when they show up to take you.
2) run like hell is after you (providing you survive #1)
3) don't be there when they show up for #1
I am begining to wonder just how my garden is going to keep me safe from those Dark Lord minions.

Love the constant reminders, seriously. What staying pepared is-- constantly re-evaluating an ever-changing situation.

Good stuff, Bullseye.

Stay Alert...

Shy Wolf, I love your plan !! The garden will make sure that you don't have to go looking for handout at the soup line in Camp. Thanks buddy.

Cygnus, I hope that others are taking these reminders to heart like you are my brother. We can only hope. Love to ya man.
