Beans, Beans, Beans

In my opinion Green Beans provide more product per amount of time, work and space than any other vegetable in the garden. I have planted green beans for years and have always had a great crop with little work on my part. Just last year I had two rows that were about 25 ft. each, side by side. I have stuff planted here and there all over the property so you may find a row or tow of beans just about anywhere here. These two rows were planted in my fenced in area of the garden. From these I picked them clean of beans 4 times. The more you pick the more they grow, these things are great for gardeners of any skill level. I just plant them in a row and place a pole in the ground on each end. From this pole I run a string from one to the other near the top, and one at the bottom. I then run several strings from the top string to the bottom about every foot or so. The beans do the rest. Really that is all I do and I harvest beans from them til late fall. I then can, freeze and dry the extra beans I have. We eat a lot of green beans fresh from the garden but they come on so fast you must preserve some of them of they will go to waste. Gardens are just one way we can reclaim our freedom and independence. This is the reason I have chosen Kentucky Wonder Pole Beans as "Bullseye's Pick of the Week" Be sure to check Bullseye's Survival Gear for all your heirlooms seeds.
